Mission: The Kansas City
Flute Association (KCFA) was established to promote the growth, development
and awareness of flutists and flute music in the greater Kansas City
area.

Vision:
To be known in the greater Kansas City area as a leading advocate
of flute performance and education.
Membership:
Membership is open to anyone in three categories (Full-Time Student,
Regular, and Senior) and entitles members to receive the newsletter,
participate in all activities, and receive discounts at select KCFA-sponsored
events.
Activities:
The KCFA sponsors a variety of activites throughout the school year,
including Members' recitals, lectures and Workshops, Master Classes,
and a High School coaching session and competition
Newsletter:
A newsletter is published three times a year and mailed to all members.
The deadline for the next newsletter is published in the current newsletter.
Members are encouraged to submit articles.
Executive Board:
The KCFA Executive Board consists of the officers, committee (project)
chairs, and at-large members and is empowered to conduct the business
of the organization. The Board meets once a month. It serves in the
interest of the general membership, from whom input is necessary
and welcome.
